Twelve Days of Catch Up...Day Four
Once on this Island pictures! Hannah was Erzulie, the goddess of love in one cast with Joe who played a number of different ensemble roles. Grace was Ti Moune, the lead in the other cast. These pictures are all mixed up but you get the idea!
The Twelve Days of Catching Up...Day Three a Day Late
I call this "A Day in the Life..." and might help explain why I didn't get to blog yesterday. First up..8:15..I had my quiet time. I am thoroughly enjoying Beth Moore's "Children of the Day" study. Whenever I take a picture during my quiet time I think of this... if you haven't watched it, you HAVE to! It is hilarious and worth the three minute or so it takes to watch it. Trust me. #blessed
By 9:15 I was at the hairdresser where I spent the next 2 and a half hours. I had my hair highlighted, lowlighted and cut and I love it. While there I managed all sorts of stuff from the chair--yay for texting. :0) I got Hannah going on her english exams, scheduled some tutoring sessions, and of course instagrammed and even answered some e-mails.
I was home for about half an hour, just long enough to eat and then Grace and I left to go to the church for a rehearsal. She is singing, "You're Here" at church on Sunday and her friend, Madi is dancing. They rehearsed for about an hour and a half and I got to chat with Melissa and do some zentangling.
My zentangle will become this year's tacky photo ornament...you can see that in my next blog post if you're lucky. :0) I got home with about half an hour to spare before meeting a student at the library for geometry tutoring. I took 15 or 20 minutes of that half hour to watercolor my zentangle.
I tutored from 3:30 to 4:30 and then took the now dry zentangle to Office Depot to get some color copies so that I could transform it into a photo ornament.
I got home and made a quick dinner, picked Hannah up from work, ate dinner, the kids helped with the dishes, and then we left for a family night of looking at Christmas lights. Hannah drove the whole time (her first time really driving at night). She did great and we had a great night together. Home by 10 and in bed by 10:30!
