We made it to Virginia!

We arrived in Virginia this evening after a long day of driving--we left at 5:22 am and arrived at about 6 pm. Our drive went great--the kids were wonderful! Thank you to Leisa for the awesome DVD player--it rocks! Here are some pictures but they are all out of order. I don't feel like figuring out Marissa's computer...This one is pretty obvious--welcome to Virginia!! We were blowing the horn, screaming, dancing, and all sorts of other things to humiliate Hannah. We did that at every state line--great fun!
Here's little NaterTot playing with the snacks at our first stop. He was happy to have a break from his car seat. He was such a little trooper all day.
Here are 7 of the kids getting ready to watch a movie before going to bed, they are worn out but also totally wound up!
Brushy Brushy...

Micah is all ready for bed with his jammies and his sleeping bag.

We managed to fit all the kids with the exception of Nate at the table for a dinner of chili.
We stopped at Chick-fil-a for lunch and some playtime in the playplace. I love Micah's expression in this--too cute!

Here the kids are at the beginning of our journey.

Loving Micah's bedhead!

Here are Shelly and I loading the van last night, being silly of course. The video below is from our first stop in just over the GA state line. I started videoing thinking I'd capture the kids running out of the rest stop but instead they came out bunny hopping.

We will be spending the day here tomorrow and then heading for Chicago. Stay tuned for more to come!

Thanks for the update. I was smiling all the way through.

You must have been taking some baby equipment to Marissa. I saw a baby carseat filled with stuff.
