We Interrupt All of These Fabulous Cruise Pictures....

....to tell you about dinner tonight.  :0)  Thursday is Hannah's night to cook and she usually recruits Grace or Joe to help her.  Tonight, she and Grace put together a fabulous dinner and set the table all fancy and everything.  The menu was Ranch Chicken, Cheese Fondue, and Thai Salad.  Everything was wonderful!  Even Joe thought so, read his review below...

Cruise Pics Part 5--San Juan, Puerto Rico

The day after St. Thomas, we went to Puerto Rico.  Harriet, Billy, and I went on a tour of the Old and New San Juan while everyone else went on a rainforest hike to a waterfall.  We enjoyed our tour that included this fort.

If you look closely at the picture above, you can see drawings of ships, this was on one of the walls in the "dungeon."  These drawings were done hundreds and hundreds of years ago and in the pitch black.  Remarkable.

Everyone enjoyed the rainforest hike and we all especially enjoyed the beauty of the other side of the island as we sailed away....above are just a sampling of the pictures we took while standing on our verandah.  It is a really beautiful island.

Cruise Pics Part 4--St. Thomas

Our first stop was St. Thomas.  It is a beautiful island with the incredible colors of the Caribbean and mountains too.  Harriet, Billy, Grandma, Hannah, and I took an open air bus tour of the island and saw some beautiful sights.  Below if you look closely you can see an iguana in the trees.

This donkey's name is Monica Lewinsky and this little guy was walking around advertising "pictures with Monica Lewinsky," cracked us up!

While we were on our island tour, Joe, Grace, and Grandpa went snorkeling.  Ollie was supposed to go but was sick all day.  They went to two locations and the first had tons of sea turtles.  A few pics below you'll see some cool pics that Grace took with her underwater camera.  These next few pictures though are various pictures that Grandpa took later while on a walk.

Cruise Pics Part 3--Dinner!

Dinner each night is one of the highlights of the cruise, especially the Disney cruise.  There are three dining rooms and we rotate through each one twice.  Above and below we are in the Royal Court.  It is very elegant.  The waiters are very friendly and often share jokes and little puzzles as well as some good natured teasing.
The first night Harriet ordered nothing for dessert and she got a plate that said "Nothing," and an ice cream sundae.  :0)

These next few pictures are from New Year's Eve, which was also formal night.  This night we were in the Enchanted Garden for dinner.

The "fun" restaurant is Animator's Palate.  On our second night there we were given these sheets and asked to draw a character.  Then we gave them to our waiter.  With the help of Disney magic there was a show later on where everyone's characters came to life in a cute little show.

These are out of order but these next few pictures are from our first night in Animator's Palate.  Crush from Finding Nemo came and talked to us and taught us how to surf and talk like a turtle.  If you've been to Turtle Talk at Epcot, it was pretty much the same as that.  Very fun and entertaining!

And, these last few are from our second night in Enchanted Garden.  I just loved these pictures, the lighting was perfect and so were Grandpa's photography skills.
