We did our presentation at the preschool! I was sooo impressed at how quietly those children sat and listened. It was really amazing. There are about 40 of them and they listened and seemed genuinely interested. Grace did very well, she had to be reminded to speak louder but that was it. It was a great experience for her. We might take them to Ollie's school too one day next week. He teaches kids with special needs (down syndrome, autistic, etc.). We've been to his school many times and I think it would be a good experience for her to show them her mantises.

Here are some of the preschoolers checking them out. They were especially fascinated by the exoskeleton hanging on a stick. They definitely learned a new vocabulary word--exoskeleton--getting to really see one will probably help them remember it.
Grace got these praying mantis glasses for Christmas and we just found them again. We forgot to take them this morning though! Oh well, can't remember it all!

Sounds like everyone had a great time. Love the mask.
Two of our Fair Maidens have always wanted to learn to knit. But I never found someone that knew how. :o( How awesome that you have been able to teach your daughter. What a blessing!
