Watch out World, Here I Come!

So, I've been asked (and I've accepted after much coercing) to be in the cast of Annie, Jr.--the show that Hannah is in coming up in about FOUR weeks!  I've been telling Amanda and Joel that I want to be in a show someday.  By someday I meant in about twenty years.  You know--"When I am old I shall wear purple...and do whatever I please and not care what anyone thinks or if I am making a fool of myself."  To be honest, I am not quite there yet.  I told A and J that I could not sing, dance, or act but they would not be deterred.  So, I will be a maid.  You know the part--"Cecille will pick out all your clothes..."  Well, I guess I'm Cecille or maybe Mrs. Pugh.  I am only in a few scenes and I have no solos and maybe only one or two lines.  I think I can do this but I'm scared to death!  What if I'm terrible???  Amanda has assured me that they will work with me so that I'm not terrible. :0)  I have a friend joining me in this craziness so that will help.  Hannah is thrilled!  I am happy to be backstage and at rehearsals with her since she is working with adults, many of whom I do not know.  Should be fun.  If you are a praying person, pray that I can be a light for Jesus during this and that I can do a decent job.

How great to put yourself out there like that. Also, how cool that Hannah is thrilled about it! Count your blessings and keep her close. :o)

Oh boy. I had already decided we wouldn't be attending this play. We can't do EVERY play, right? But now I want to come to see you in it. Can't you convince the higher-ups to offer HS discounts? That's what kind of clinched it for my decision to pass this one by. Now I am sorely tempted....
