So, here goes--
- I was all into the Rubik's cube. I had a book and I would follow the directions step by step and solve that baby! I also had the Pyramid but wasn't as successful.
- I spent hours playing Qbert on our Commodore 64--hopping on those squares. Again, I had a perfect pattern I went by and I could get pretty far.
- I went skating every weekend and always bought a Nestle Crunch bar and a Sprite. If "Centerfold" or "I Love Rock 'n Roll" came on I dropped that Crunch bar so fast and took off along with everybody else. You just HAD to skate to those songs. I tried so hard to be like Bonnie Peacock and dance while I skated and turn the corners just perfectly but I'm afraid I completely failed at that one.
- I had lots of "Dove" shorts--remember the really, really short silky shorts with the little dove on them. Richway or Target had a whole wall of them in every color. I had a few pair and I would wear one of them with my baby blue unicorn shirt that I got at Snellville Days.
- My neighbor, sister, and I made up dances to "She's a Maneater," and "Valley Girl."
- I so wanted my hair to "feather," but I had really straight hair that did not like to "feather."
- I pegged my pants.

Thanks so much for playing.. how did I miss the 100 things?? Wowza.. LOL
On my 100th post I listed 100 things about myself, you'd have to search in the archives to find it. Probably somewhere around September or October. Glad you liked my tweaked version!
Did you have the striped dove shorts? I did! And I am right there with ya at the roller rink. Every Friday night. What is "pegging" pants?
You are so RAD 80's girl. I was right there with you...but add some leg warmers (I lived in the Midwest).
Pegging pants is when you folded over the bottom of your pants and then rolled them up so they were tight at the bottom. I think I did have some of the striped dove shorts!
