Pumpkin Pie Play Dough

This is a great play dough recipe--it makes really smooth, elastic play dough and it smells great!  It makes a ton so you might want to half the recipe.

5 1/2 cups flour

2 cups salt

8 tsp. cream of tartar

3/4 cup oil

1 1/8 oz. pumpkin pie spice (1 small container)

4 cups water

red and orange food coloring

Mix all ingredients together.  Then cook over medium heat while stirring until lumps disappear and dough forms.  Add food coloring to make it orange.  Knead on floured surface until smooth.
