A Few of My Favorite Things

I decided to play along with Lori's little game--

Christmas hymn:  "O Come All Ye Faithful"  I never get tired of it.                                                  Least Favorite:  "Good King Wenceslas"  That's the only one I could think of that I don't really know.  So, if I don't know it it has to then be my least favorite.  I don't even know if it counts as a hymn.

Christmas song to crank up in the car:  "Haul out the Holly"  I'm not sure if that' s the name of it but those are the first words--good enough for me.                                                               The song that makes me flip the channel:  Definitely, "Christmas Makes Me Cry,"  I don't want to cry at Christmas.  Joe has decided that this song is his favorite and protests when I try to turn it off.  Today he told me that "of course you are supposed to cry at Christmas because so many people care about you and that's why they give you presents."  We'll see if he does any crying this Christmas...

Best Christmas dessert:  peanut butter cookies with a hershey's kiss on top and my sister-in-law's pretzel yummies (pretzel rods dipped in caramel, chocolate, and candy bar pieces)                 Total waste of calories:  anything that does not have chocolate in it or on it

Christmas sweater, yes or no?  In Florida--no!  Anywhere else--no not so much.  Unless it has shoulder pads then I'm all about it.

Favorite Christmas movie: Elf is top on my list, running closely behind are Miracle on 34th street, One Magic Christmas, the Rankin/Bass Santa Claus is Coming to Town                                 Least favorite Christmas movie:  ???

Elf is my favorite. We've seen it a million times, sometimes we watch it back to back. Even Greg likes it.
Those pretzels sounds really good.
I'm with Joe on the crying thing. I always cry during mass, but now I am going to think of you and laugh instead.
This was a cute list.
oh, the shoulder pad comment was funny.

I'll have to add "Christmas Makes Me Cry" to my least favorite list too. It's terrible.

I had a good laugh over your shoulder pad statement:)
