We just got back from the nursing home and we had a really great time. Noone got yelled at, noone was traumatized. Even Joe got into it and passed out lots of Valentines. He was a little choosy though. The people seemed to enjoy us being there and the lady who works there actually cried when she was introducing us. She was that thankful that we had come. She said they never have groups like ours come in. We are going to try to get back again soon. Maybe for St. Patrick's Day or Easter.

As soon as we got in the car, the girls asked when we could do it again. I am glad it worked out well. I liked that it was kind of short. It is hard to carve out a big chunk of time.
How precious, I'm sure those residents felt so loved. I am so proud of you and how you are teaching my grandkids to unconditional love others! You are a GREAT MOM!!
