The kids and I have arrived safely in GA to visit my family. We left our house at 5:30 am and by 7 Hannah had thrown up twice and we'd had to stop for the bathroom twice. Hannah's little tummy hates to travel. The rest of our trip was a litte less eventful but I do think we made a record number of stops. The kids sat in back the whole way watching DVDs and I immersed myself in a book on CD. I am listening to Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. It's so good. It's going to be hard to wait a whole week to get back to it. I may have to spend some time sitting in the driveway listening. :0) Unfortunately it's not one that I want the kids listening too so I can only listen to it when they are watching the tv or not in the car. The weather is definitely cooler here, not by a lot but it feels great. I imagine we'll be spending some time outside this week. We are hoping to make it to the mountains. Maybe go apple picking if all that has started. It should be a good, relaxing week with lots of pictures for your viewing enjoyment.
I haven't blogged in days because I've been ridiculously busy. Too busy. The kind of busy that makes me want to quit everything and hide in a hole. I even considered for a few minutes putting my kids in school. But then I realized that that was ridiculous. That's truly the most important thing that I do. If it got that bad there are a lot of other things I could cut out before I resorted to putting my kids in school. One new thing in my already busy scheduling is three new tutoring jobs. Progress reports must have come out this week because I got call after call and finally had to say no more. I only have so many available hours in a week. Once we get back I'll get in the groove and things shouldn't be so crazy. This was just an unusual week. It is fabulous to have a week of vacation!!!
I've been noticing the signs of fall. The Golden Rain trees are in bloom. We have a few near us and they are beautiful. I can't wait for the pink pods. I had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks. Not loving the cinnamon chunks they've added this year. I'll have to get them without the chunks next time. There was a cool breeze coming through the window the other night. We've almost survived another Florida summer!!!

Glad you amde it there safely (sorry about Hannah), we missed you at the car wash. That book is intense! Have a fun week!
oops, you know I meant "made" it there safely!
Glad you're safe - I was thinking of you today.
Yes, progress reports did just come out. Glad you made it.
Have a wonderful trip. Cooler weather sounds like heaven!
Tis the migraine time of month, so I got one of those pumpkin spice things (the blended variety) and it tasted like neither pumpkin nor spice. Very disappointing. I probably would have liked the cinnamon chunks...at least it would have had a taste.
have a great week!
ok... I'm confused... are you coming or going?? lol
